  • Ms Jody

    Jody Sutton is the new on-site owner at The Goddard School of Olathe Northwest. Jody was born and raised in the small town of Garnett Kansas. After getting married to her husband, Larry they moved to Virginia while Larry served in the US Army. While in Virginia Jody and Larry raised their own family. Austin, now 30 and Rebecca, now 28 made their house a home. In 1994 Jody began her career in family childcare. She successfully ran her childcare for 28 years while earning her degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2022 Jody and Larry moved back to Kansas to be closer to family and Jody began her career with Goddard. During that time Jody and Larry filled their home again with children. Andrew, 12 and Serenity, 11 and Elianna, now 4 also joined the Sutton home. In August on 2024 Jody joined the staff at the school and in October became the new on-site owner. Jody is passionate about providing a safe, nurturing educational environment that will foster a lifelong love of learning.

  • Ms Martina

    Martina is our school’s executive program director. She has over 10 years of experience in education. She boasts an ASS in Early Childhood Education from Germany. Martina chose early childhood education because early childhood is fascinating and exciting. Being a part of the journey is so special. Whether students or families are going through tough times or celebrating big milestones being a support system to them all brings her so much joy. Her favorite part of working for Goddard is collaborating with our amazing teachers and connecting with her students and families. Her goal is to maintain a safe and creative high quality learning environment while evolving and growing the school’s relationship with the community. In her spare time Martina enjoys family fun days, swimming, biking, theme parks and baking with her daughter.

  • Ms Alex

    Alex is our school’s curriculum director she has been with Goddard since 2015. She boasts a BSS in Elementary Education form KU. Alex chose early childhood education because she wanted to help set the important foundation of our children’s social, emotional and academic education. Her favorite part of teaching is building relationships with students and watching them learn new things. Her goal is to collaborate with Goddard’s team of teachers to provide the highest quality curriculum that balances purposeful play with creative teacher led STEM activities. Alex prides herself on providing a fun and dynamic curriculum for our students. In her spare time Alex enjoys trying new restaurants and playing with her son.

  • Ms Brittainy

    Brittainy has been with Goddard since 2022. She boasts a B.A. in psychology with a minor in social work. She also has her CDA as well as baby yoga and movement development training. Brittainy chose early childhood education because she is passionate about nurturing young minds and making a lasting impact on her students. Her favorite part of teaching is being a part of her students mastering milestones and enjoying every day with her students. Brittainy's goals for her class are that she instills a love for learning and self-confidence through self-help activities and daily routines. In her spare time Brittainy enjoys spending time with her family and being active outdoors.

  • Mr Nathan

    Nathan is our school’s assistant director and behavior management coach. He has been with Goddard since 2023 and has over 7 years of experience in early childhood education. Nathan is currently seeking a degree in business management. He chose early childhood education because of his inspiring grandma. She made learning fun and exciting. Nathan thinks every child should feel the same way about education and he is so happy to be a part of that journey. His favorite part of working with Goddard is forming relationships with families and students that last a lifetime. Nathan’s goal is to one day own his own Goddard.   • Ms Andrea

    Andrea has been with Goddard since 2023 and has over 16 years of experience in early childhood education. Andrea boasts an AAS in Early Childhood Education. She chose early childhood education because she wants to make a difference. She knows that being a part of the early years makes a big difference in a child’s life. Andrea’s favorite part of teaching is the amazing relationship she builds with her students and families. She also loves the excitement that children express when they come to school. Her goal for her class is to provide a safe loving environment where her students can play and learn while preparing them for pre-k. In her spare time Andrea enjoys spending time with her family and reading.

  • Ms Cheryl

    Cheryl is new to the Goddard team of teachers. She boasts 30 years of experience in early childhood education. Cheryl chose early childhood education because she loves watching children grow and learn. She takes great pride in knowing she was a part of their growth. Cheryl’s favorite part of teaching is watching the children’s smiling faces and building a relationship with each child and family. Her goal for her classroom is to create a nurturing, play-based environment where children feel safe and supported. In her spare time Cheryl enjoys reading, diamond painting, and spending time with her fur babies, Charlie, Xena, and Juno.

  • Ms Danielle

    Danielle has been with Goddard since 2021. She has a bachelor’s degree in Unified Early Childhood Education from KU. Danielle chose Early Childhood Education because helping to raise her siblings gave her true love for little ones. Her favorite part of teaching is watching her students grow and meet milestones along the way, especially walking. Daniell’s goal for her mobile infant class is to create a learning environment where the children are loved, safe, and supported in their growth and development. In her spare time Danielle enjoys playing video games and trying new foods.

  • Ms Janet

    Janet has been with Goddard since 2018. She boasts a B.S in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education. Janet chose early childhood education because she loves children. Her goals for her class are to provide a variety of learning experiences to guide children toward their next developmental milestones. Janet wants to make sure she provides a loving, safe and nurturing environment for her students to thrive in. Her favorite part of teaching is watching each student grow and learn at their own pace. In her spare time Janet enjoys practicing yoga, playing tennis and making cold brew.

  • Ms Jill

    Jill has been at Goddard since 2022 and boasts a BA in Art History from KU. She chose early childhood education because she has always loved learning new things, and she hopes to make learning fun for her students. Jill’s favorite part of teaching is watching a child get excited to share what they have learned with family and friends. Her goal for her classroom is to create a warm welcoming environment for every student. In Jill’s spare time she enjoys hiking and trying new foods.

  • Ms Kimberly

    Kim has been in the early childhood industry for 35 years and just joined our Goddard team. She chose early childhood education because she has always loved working with children and watching their little minds work and learn new things. Kim’s favorite part of teaching is watching the children accomplish a task. She also enjoys just chatting with her students, it is never boring in the pre-k classroom. Kim’s goals for her class are to make sure her students are ready to go to kindergarten. In her spare time Kim enjoys boating, scrapbooking, reading, and spending time with her 5 granddaughters.

  • Ms Koren

    Koren has been with Goddard since 2023. She boasts a B.S. in Personnel Psychology from Missouri Western State University. Koren chose early childhood development because it was a great fit for her life. She loves working with children, and she loves being able to bring her own children to an outstanding childcare. Koren’s main goal for her class is to make sure her students are ready for kindergarten. She wants her students to learn to be kind, respectful and helpful. Koren’s class focuses on letter and number recognition, writing and recognizing their full names, and following directions. Her favorite part of teaching is watching the kids grow and learn over the year. The milestones they meet and exceed bring her so much joy. In Koren’s spare time she enjoys reading, traveling, and baking.

    Michelle has been with Goddard since 2016. She boasts a degree in both business and Early Childhood Development. Michelle chose early childhood education because she wanted to create a fun learning environment where her students can explore and grow. Her favorite part of teaching is watching her students grow academically, socially and independently. Michelle’s goal for her class is for her students to be confident, kind, and to be prepared for kindergarten. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and going on walks.

    Ronni has been with Goddard since 2024 and has over 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She boasts a B.S. in Education. Ronni chose Early Childhood Education because she has a deep passion for working with young children. She says there is nothing more rewarding than being a part of her students’ first learning experiences and helping them build connections with the world around them. Ronni’s favorite part of teaching is witnessing her students’ excitement and pride as they achieve new milestones. She loves watching them grow both academically and personally. Her goals for her class are to help students gain independence in their self-care routines, develop one-to-one correspondence, and strengthen their fine motor skills. In her spare time Ronni enjoys spending quality time with her family, cooking, painting, and reading a wide variety of books.

    Sarah has been with Goddard schools since 2022. She boasts a bachelor’s degree in educational studies with a minor in Early Childhood. Sarah chose early childhood education because she loves children. It is amazing watching them grow and learn along the way. Her goal for her class is to have her students learn to be kind to others, share, have fun, and learn to love school. Sarah’s favorite part of teaching is having her students walk in each morning excited to be at school and to see her. You cannot beat all the hugs. In her spare time Sarah enjoys reading, thrift shopping, and going on walks with her family.

  • Ms Stacy

    Stacy has been with Goddard for two years and in the early childhood industry for 10 years. She boasts a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration. Stacy chose early childhood education because she loves seeing the kids daily and watching what they can accomplish with positive encouragement. Stacy is one of our dynamic resource teachers and her goals for the classrooms is to assist children in making good choices and help the lead teachers in any way they need. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing students develop and learn to make good choices on their own. In her spare time Stacy enjoys arts and crafts, building things, playing piano, singing and music of all kinds.

  • Ms Christie

    Christie has been with Goddard since 2016. She continues her education in ECE. Christie chose early childhood education because she loves helping children learn new things. Her favorite part of teaching is watching all her infant students grow into their little personalities. Christie’s goals for her class are that her infant students meet their developmental milestones. In her spare time Christie enjoys reading and everything outdoors.

  • Ms Ellen

    Ellen has been with Goddard since 2023. She has an AAS in Special Education. She chose early childhood education because she loves to see the spark in a student’s eyes when they learn something new. Her favorite part of teaching is sharing meaningful moments with students and families. Ellen’s goal for her classes is to be as helpful as possible to both the students and the lead teachers in the room. In her spare time Ellen enjoys paper crafts whether its origami or being crafty with her Cricut machine.

  • Ms Hannah

    Hannah has been with Goddard since 2016 and has over 14 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She is currently working on earning her CDA. Hannah chose Early Childhood Education because she simply wanted to leave a positive impact on the world. Helping kids learn and grow is her passion. Hannah’s favorite part of teaching is watching her students learn a new skill. She says the way their face lights up when they accomplish something they have been working toward is such an amazing thing to be part of. Her goal for her class is to improve her students’ social skills and help each student succeed. In her spare time Hannah enjoys riding four wheelers and dirt bikes. It is her favorite way to relax after a long day.

    Jak has been with Goddard for a year as one of our outstanding high school resource teachers. Here is a secret, Jak attended this Goddard when he was little. He chose early childhood education because he would like to make an impact on young people as they are our future. Jak’ favorite part of teaching is just being with the students. His goals for the classes he helps are to encourage personal growth and make learning fun. In his spare time Jak enjoys working out, reading, and spending time with his family.

  • Ms Janet

    Janet has been with Goddard for 8 years and has over 18 years’ experience in education. She is one of our outstanding assistant teachers. Janet chose early childhood education because she loves helping young children learn and grow. Her favorite part of teaching is watching her students light up when they realize they can write letters and numbers. She feels great pride in her students, especially when they learn to read their sight words. Janet’s goal for her class is that her class prepares the students for kindergarten. In her spare time Janet enjoys spending time with friends.

  • Ms Jayce

    Jayce is new to the Goddard family of teachers joining the team n 2025. She has her CNA license and moved to early childhood education because she wanted to help influence and teach children, to guide them and make a difference in their lives. Jayce's favorite part of teaching is watching the students learn and remember things she has taught them. She loves watching the little friendships grow between her students. Jayce's goal for her class is to gain trust from all her students and the families she serves. She wants to ensure they feel safe and loved as they grow from infants into toddlers. In her spare time Jayce enjoys spending time with her son and family. She loves to be outdoors, traveling and exploring new adventures.

  • Ms Kaspien

    Kaspien has been with Goddard since 2022 as one of our amazing resource teachers. She chose early childhood education because her grandmother inspired her by working in the field for many years. Kaspien’s favorite part of teaching is spending time with the students and getting to know them. She loves the bond she builds with her students and loves being a part of their chapter in life. Her goal for her classes is to make it the safest and best learning environment possible for her students. In her spare time Kaspien enjoys hanging out with her family and friends. She enjoys music, fashion, and cultural festivals.

  • Ms Kaylee

    Kaylee has been with Goddard since 2024. She has over 7 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Kaylee chose Early Childhood Education because she loves watching children’s curiosity grow. Her favorite part of teaching is being able to explore various subjects with her students and help foster their curiosity and knowledge while exploring their own creativity. Kaylee plans to earn her degree in Early Childhood Education.

  • Ms Kelci

    Kelci has been with Goddard for 2 years as one of our outstanding resource teachers. She chose early childhood education because she loves to help children. Her favorite part of teaching is just being around all the students. In her spare time Kelci enjoys spending time with her friends and family and playing with her puppy.

  • Ms Madison

    Madison has been with Goddard since 2020. She boasts an A.S. in Arts from Johnson County Community College. She is currently enrolled in KU finishing her bachelor’s degree in arts and sciences. Madison chose early childhood education because she always had aa strong desire to teach. Once she began working with young children, she realized that early childhood education was perfect for her. Madison says it is always an exciting adventurous day in her classroom. Her favorite part of teaching is helping her students find their personalities while exploring who they are through education and play. Madison’s goals for her classroom are to have fun and engage with new friends, learn letters, colors, numbers, and shapes, and master potty training. In her spare time Madison enjoys shopping and spending time with family, friends and her cat.

  • Ms Paula

    Paula has been with our school for a short time, January 2025. She boasts a B.S. in Business and Human Services. She chose early childhood education because she loves to help people. Paula’s favorite part of teaching is just enjoying kids of all ages. Her goal for her class is to help each student develop and learn as they go onto preschool. In her spare time Ms. Paula enjoys spending time with her family and grandson.

  • Ms Rachel

    Rachel has been with Goddard since January 2025. She continues to work on her education. Rachel chose early childhood education because she is passionate about helping young children grow through foundational skill development. Her favorite part of teaching is empowering Goddard students through meaningful educational experiences and personal development opportunities. Rachel’s goal for her class is to provide a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment that supports the social and educational growth of her students. In her spare time Rachel enjoys spending time by the ocean and exploring the outdoors through walking and hiking. Her latest hobby is gardening, especially growing herbs and vegetables.

  • Ms Sandra

    Sandra is one of our new assistant teachers in the cub room. Sandra graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 2023. She has a biliteracy seal from Kansas. She chose early childhood education because she has always felt a passion for teaching. Sandra has four younger siblings and spending time with them has shown her this is the right path for her career. Sandra’s favorite part of teaching is seeing the “ah-ha” or “I did it” moments with her infant students. She said watching them light up as they learn or accomplish a new task is an absolute joy. Sandra’s goal for her class is that every student feels safe, loved, and happy as they work to meet their milestones and explore the world around them. In her spare time Sandra enjoys reading, researching topics, writing stories, spending time with her siblings and extended family, and going for walks with her sister.

  • Ms Erica

    Ms. Erica has been with Goddard since 2015. She boasts a degree in Elementary Education I.N.S.O.-Guatemala. She is our amazing kitchen manager. She serves delicious food to our students. Ms. Erica takes allergies and safety of our food very seriously. In her spare time Erica enjoys spending time with her family.
